Calgary, Alberta - January 28, 2008 - IntelliView Technologies, a leading developer
of video analytics announced the official launch of its new Intelligent Video
Analyzer (IVA). The IVA is a powerful all-in-one intelligent video surveillance
device that combines digital video recording (DVR), sophisticated video analytics,
automated alarm and event notification, flexible networking capabilities, and
configuration of multiple cameras into one compact package.
The IVA is noninvasive, requiring minimal additional infrastructure, while adding
intelligence to new or existing video camera installations which enables the system
to detect motion, analyze movement and send pre-programmed alerts.
According to IntelliView's founder and CTO, Dr. Wael Badawy, "The value provided to
clients of the IVA device is derived from a combination of the feature rich hardware
delivery platform, minimal network infrastructure requirements and sophisticated
video analytics software. The incorporation of the IVA into IntelliView's product
offering represents a cost-effective way to enhance safety, security, and
productivity for our valued clients."

Traditional video analytics systems are server based and require large amounts of
processing capacity in conjunction with expensive independent networks to support
the high-bandwidth requirements of video data. This complex and expensive computing
infrastructure has limited video analytics to large scale projects.

With the launch of the IVA IntelliView strongly believes that it has overcome these
barriers to adoption and is now in a position to provide video analytics to a whole
new market segment of companies who are ready and waiting for cost-effective
analytics.

After completing several successful field trials and pilot systems IntelliView is
now actively working with clients and partners towards larger scale deployments for
property management, oil and gas, health care, and transportation applications.
